Photon AI is designed from the ground up to minimize data collection. We believe your conversations are private and should stay that way.

1.1 Information you provide

Email address: We collect your email address only when you create an account for subscription management or make a purchase. This is the only personal identifier we store.

Purchase information: When you make a purchase, transaction data (such as purchase ID and subscription status) is processed by our payment provider (Google Play). We do not store payment card details.

1.2 Information we do NOT collect

• Your chat messages, conversation history, or AI responses
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Location data
• Contact lists or other device permissions beyond what is required for app function
• Behavioral analytics or usage patterns

2. How We Use Your Information

Your email address is used exclusively for:

• Account authentication and subscription management
• Purchase history and balance tracking
• Critical service communications (e.g., account security, subscription updates)

We do not use your email for marketing unless you have explicitly opted in. We do not sell, trade, or rent your email address to any third party.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your email address and subscription/purchase data are stored on secure servers. We implement industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to user data is strictly limited to authorized personnel required for service operation.

Your AI conversations are processed in real-time and are not stored on our servers. Conversations may be stored locally on your device depending on your app settings.

4. Third-Party Services

Photon AI uses the following third-party services:

• Google Play: For app distribution and in-app purchases. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• AI Model Providers: Your messages are sent to AI model APIs to generate responses. These providers process messages in real-time and, per our agreements, do not store or train on your conversations. We select providers with strong privacy commitments.

5. Children's Privacy

Photon AI is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you (your email and subscription data)
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Withdraw consent for any marketing communications

7. Data Retention

We retain your email address and subscription data for as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the email address on your account or through an in-app notification. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
